Cold-Architecting

This is a new term I have just invented. It describes a phenomenon I am well experienced in and therefore able to define.

Cold-Architecting - (verb) A practice of over-zealous business development managers.

Basic premise: Waste a week of your best software architect's time, by forcing them to do system design for a potential customer who you have not yet bothered to call.
