The director of the zoo where a 4-year-old boy fell into a moat that housed a silverback gorilla Saturday said he stands by the decision to kill the 400-pound animal.

They should have killed the kid. Silverbacks are endangered. Humans that act without taking into account the consequences of their actions are plentiful.

No, I take it back. They should have saved the kid, but killed the parents and given the kid to Harambe. He appears to be doing a better job at caring for the child than his mother did.
