Ah, sweet folking irony

Just bought the album Show of Hands, by Show of Hands from Amazon.  MP3 version, DRM-free, etc.

Seems wrong to buy folk music online in the purely electronic version.  Seems like the type of thing that Show of Hands would be writing songs about; bemoaning the demise of the record shop and the poor store clerk who can’t feed his family no more … nonny-nonny.

Wow, apparently it doesn't suck that bad where I work! Maybe I should
quit bitchin', stop feeling sorry for myself and go get some work done.

McCartney vows to only date women who have their own money

The former ‘Beatle’, who has been seeing Nancy Shevell of late, feels very comfortable with her because she is not seeing him because of his money…

Yes Sir Paul, maybe you should only date women who can stand on their own two feet in future.

Re: OHA Vacancies

Dear Serg/Larry,

In case you’re wondering: Yes, I would be prepared to work for you (provided the money’s right).

I know a thing or two about Java and mobile phones.

Have one of your minions break into my Google Docs account and check out my resume.  It’s the one called “riksagar.resume2007.doc”.  Save me the trouble of Googling your HR department.

That’s all for now,

Rik.

p.s., what’s this I hear about free lunches?

Barefoot 4.0

Guess what the 4.0 stands for?

That's right, it's the new price of a damn small latte! To add insult to injury - as part of this "upgrade" - they've remove the little biscuit I used to get with my coffee.

I wonder when the old store will make it onto http://oldversion.com/

Things to do on a trip to Oregon

Multnomah Falls looks good

Seems water is a bit of a theme for the Pacific North West.
