Found it at last!

AVS-5811 5.8 GHz Wireless Audio/Video Sender/Receiver

I've been searching under Wireless Video and RF TV Link for months to no avail. Now I get it! Video Sender.

Geez, I thought these search engines were suppose to be smart enough to know what your thinking, not just what you're typing.

And WFT came up with the name Video Sender!?

Tech Giants' Internet Battles: "network operators could give preference to their own content, or ensure speedier delivery to content providers that pay extra fees."

And this is why we all need to start using free Metropolitan WiFi instead of DSL and Cable modems...

Glove Twat

The old lady driving this car couldn’t possibly have intended her vanity plate to be so offensive to bay area Brits (or maybe it’s an accurate description of her unmentionables!?)

Flickr: Ok - You're all signed up: "Corroded collusus"

fuckwitt titty boy is my new flikr ID. Really the titty boy fuckwitts are the guys at flickr who couldn't reconsile that fact that my flicker account was ukdiveboy@yahoo.com and - since Yahoo! assimilated Flickr - they don't understand how I could possibly want to access my flicker account using a Yahoo! email address, yet not want to log-into flickr via the "Login to flicker using your flickr account".

I am ranting I know.

Anyway, if you have any idea how I can access the pictures I posted to flickr using my ukdiveboy username and merge them to my "fuckwitt titty boy" username, please let me know.

By the way, textamerica rocks way more than flickr.

RIP Yahoo! - Long live Google.

Wet Ramblings of the Dive Boy: Using Palm's LifeDrive Mobile Manager with iTunes

The pictures on the page above didn't come out too well and it seems lots of people are hitting that page for instructions on setting up their lifedrive with iPod podcasts.

So here's a PDF version of the original doc I wrote with the pictures preserved. It's much easier to follow with the pictures.

iPod_Podcasts_with_Palm_LifeDrive_doc.pdf

contact me if you find these pages useful - or useless. In the latter case let me know what I can do to improve them.

Also, you might want to try downloading my Palm photocast application :-)

Also, I just 'discovered' this page on Palm's Knowledge Base site.

Armida Vineyard

Had a busy sightseeing weekend last weekend. Geoff is visiting from England, so we had a couple of trips out.

Saturday we went down to Capitola for a couple of hours on the beach. Just across from the beach there is a tasting rooms for Armida Vineyard, a small winery up in Healdsburg.

Had a nice tasting and sampled a couple of their Zinfandels. If you're a Zin fan, you should really check them out. We ended up with a couple of bottle of Zin (2004 Flora Ranch and the 2004 Maple Vineyard). We also took a couple of their Sauvignon Blanc (2005) which is also very nice.

Sadly they only sell directly from the cellar, their wine club or to some restuarants - due to their size.

Museum trips

Sunday we made a couple of museum trips. The Exploratorium and the Cable Car Museum - both up in San Francisco.

Really liked the Exploratorium. Cable car museum was a little lacking for my likings, which is a shame as I've been excited about going to that one for years.

Finished up the day with dinner in little Italy (Mona Lisa restaurant followed by Steps of Rome for coffee and an ice cream for Ben).

Slashdot | Prayer Does Not Help Heart Patients

Maybe there is a god, maybe there ain't. If there is, HELLO RELIGIOUS FOLKS, guess what!? Your god doesn't give a fuck about you. Sorry to break the bad news. Now put another dollar on the collection plate and go flog yoursel'.

A recent study conducted by the Duke University Medical Center on 700 patients, found that having people pray for heart bypass surgery patients had no effect on their recovery.

We Can't make it here -- James McMurtry's, Childish Things

Listening to this and reading The Grapes of Wrath at the same time is enough to drive anyone to despair ... or at the very least, drive you to vote Democrat!
